Introduction
In this case study we explore how Zoho + Fristine Infotech helped Mahindra Solarize transform digitally in their Sales and Field Service space. We will discuss the core issues addressed and how Zoho Solutions were deployed to overcome these challenges ultimately delivering solid business results in the form of higher efficiences and greater insights into business decision making.

Mahindra Solarize is one of the top 3 Solar companies in massive Indian Market. They offer the best-quality residential solar panels, water pumps, and residential solar rooftop solutions. They have 4 core business divisions:
1. Residential Rooftops
2. Commercial and industrial Rooftops
3. Solar Water Pumps
4. Car Ports
Challenge
Mahindra Solarize approached us fairly new into their inception and wanted to establish digital infrastructure on top of Zoho. Their business challenge was to manage a complex network of technicians and dealers. To track their sales performance as well as complaint resolution.
Mahindra Solarize close to their vision statement wanted to provide best in class customer service to farmers, who were one of their important customer segments. This also formed a key challenge statement for us.
Finally the mandate for us included providing dashboards on critical data points to management at their fingertips. They did not want to spend time and effort generating reports every month.
Finding a solution
Fristine Infotech’s capable business analyst team started off with requirement gathering and understood this is a combination of Customer Experience transformation and custom application build requirement. We presented a blue print to achieve this via Zoho CRM Plus and Zoho Creator. Together these application bundle would help our development team design a solution to get sales records across multi channel sales, track service records and complaints and present dashboards to management on critical data.
Along the way we also suggested automation such as assignment rule, templates, escalation matrix, automated survey and feedback gathering. Since Mahindra Solarize did not have much of legacy app stack, we wanted to ensure they get maximum automation in phase 1 itself. Such decision making comes with experience and Fristine Infotech’s capable team was able to do just that for Mahindra Solarize team.

Zoho CRM was deployed to help Mahindra Solarize with their Sales process for 2 of their Business Divisions. We also designed a custom Service module with the help of Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator to manage Farmer’s installation request and compliant tracker.
As per our solution design, there was a requirement for interface for their Dealers. We developed a comprehensive dealer management system (DMS) on top of Zoho Creator which was tightly integrated with CRM to pull all the critical customer information and share a Customer 360 to Dealers as well as Mahindra Solarize management team. This includes all the Sales and Service requests information.
We also implemented a custom API integration to push and pull from thier in-house system daily to bring the beneficiary/contact information to Zoho CRM.
For Management, we built a complex application on top of Zoho Creator that handles multiple types of users and access levels. Each user required to see only the relevant data as per thier role. User-wise dashboards and reports were also configured to provide real-time analytics at each level.
Results
Key objective for Mahindra Solarize was to get started their Cloud Journey through their inception which was sucessfully delivered. Apart from that, multi channel sales alignment, quicker service resolution and automation was achieved.
